It started with discipleship.
Gathering at The Well started with a group of women passionate about ministering to people in their community. God placed discipleship heavily on their heart, and they wanted to point other women to the heart of Jesus. They started by providing ministry opportunities at a local coffee shop in Dyersville, Iowa, as an extension of the Church. When the coffee shop closed, the women continued the mission in their homes, and the Lord unveiled a nonprofit ministry called Gathering at The Well.
It continues with gathering.
Today, the Well continues to serve women and encourage them to continuously grow in their relationship with Jesus. The Well offers weekly bible studies, worship nights, and other events to spur one another on in faith. We help equip women to share their faith no matter where they are. We feel an urgency to reach as many people as possible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our prayer at The Well is to be an extension of the Church and be used to reach more people with the Gospel. We want to see a move of repentance for people to turn back to their Heavenly Father, who waits with open arms to love them.
